I really do, I’m no good at it, and I think I come from a long line of family members who are not cleaners. We’re all rather in awe of my sister-in-law, but that’s another story. Having a baby has forced me to reluctantly start cleaning things a little more often (including the baby). Before the solid food thing gets too out of hand, I could at least invest in one of these adorable oil cloth splat mats to put under the high chair. Especially since I hate the berber carpet in our dining room anyway (and am therefore even less likely to clean it). Handmade by Kelly McCants of Modern June, I’ll get to choose among 36 different patterns – one each for the center and trim. Aaah. Less cleaning, and fun design to boot!

Many people have a similar attitude towards cleaning. I am no exception, but I still have to clean up. The only washing of large windows I trust this company, for which I am grateful. The guys do their job well.
