I don’t usually post on games for kids because I don’t feel I have the experience to know a good one when I see one. I, a designer, get all caught up in the seeing, and not the content. Blue Orange is a company that has intrigued me for years – because of their visuals. When I use to walk by their booth at the New York International Toy Fair every year, I’d be craning my neck for a better glimpse. There’s a simplicity to them that defies the product category they’re in. So many games are visually very complicated.
So beyond the designer babble, why am I posting on Bingory? Because I also love the wit of it all: bingo + memory = bingory. So simple, with a squeeze of innovative zest. And yes, it’s also because – as you may already know – memory games are my favorite. And bingo is a close second.
bingory – the name says it all
