lmnop creative kids bookstore design

Well, it’s been one of those weeks. As you can tell from Wednesday’s post, I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed by it all. But Friday mornings always cheer me up. And I like doing a little link love on Fridays because it makes me feel like: a.) I actually am “well-read” in the world of blogs and kids finds (and committing to this post series helps keep me on task) b.) there are so many cool things in the world that inspire me c.) duh, it’s Friday! On top of that? It’s a holiday weekend! And I think I’m getting several hours in a row that are all mine. A rarity for this mom. Have a great weekend everyone!

  • This NYC bike covered in crochet makes me think … maybe that’s the new way to personalize your kid’s bikes and trikes and hot wheels? Why not! Heck, add some fringe. via Lion Brand’s Notebook.
  • My favorite find this week: The simplest why-didn’t-I-think-of-that cork and hankie parachute DIY. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to break out your bottle of wine this Friday eve. via My Little Hen.
  • Some ingenious, rather hilarious, toddler games that will let you rest while you play them. Seriously. Cool. via Babble.
