My Little Day Kids and PIrates

Well, my week has included toddlers in swimming pools, playdates with watermelon AND birthday cake, a persistent tick, sweet gestures from my husband, some enjoyable new design work, a toddler with a 101 degree fever and lots of hot cuddles, and 20 minutes perfecting a hippo’s armpit. Highs, lows, and lots in-between. How about you? No really, what was the most memorable bit?

For the rest of the web, I think it was these bits:

  • (Shown above) An adorable photoshoot, of course it’s from a French company called My Little day. via Lushlee.
  • The best use of a vintage cash register at Scoutie Girl. It’s so good I suddenly have the urge to find my own till asap.
  • The “I’m Wearing …” series over at Kenziepoo is absolutely brilliant. I particularly love this week’s dress and illustrated girl combo.
  • This DIY bracelet tutorial from Craft Gawker takes my favorite childhood camp memories – friendship bracelets – and makes them all new again. I wish my daughter was old enough so we could make these together!
