The Little Experience DIY Craft kits for Kids Squirrel Keychain

I spent so much of my childhood devouring every craft book at our small town library (and then waiting for the rare new one to arrive). I then spent the rest of my childhood trying to make everything and anything I could think of. Some things were semi-successful, some things were not. But I have many great memories of making things thanks to encouraging parents and limited resources (limitations are good!). I would like to think I am  a crafty mom – or maybe I should say I will be, since Birdie is only 1 1/2 years old. I would like to think I will be the one encouraging Birdie to create things all on her own. However, let’s all agree that the reality is not always so rosey. And as the saying goes: Everything in Moderation. For those days when my brain is all dried up, and she’s still looking for inspiration? I’ll be going to The Little Experience and finding things like this hysterically cute Stitch-it Squirrel Keyring.

The nice thing about technology in this day in age is that some of the craft ideas out there can be done just by getting ideas and instruction from the net (and not have to buy/rent any books).
