I’ve turned into someone who gets a bit obsessed with stocking up for the coming season. It’s a new parent phenomena – at least for me. In my pre-daughter life, when I needed to outfit my own wardrobe I’d wait for the mid-season sales – at the earliest. I’d usually score the best deals around New Year’s. This year? I freaked out as soon as the temps dropped around September 1st. Oh the fear, the terror, of not having anything for my daughter to wear that will keep her warm! So now I’ve swung in the opposite direction, and I think we’re already kitted out for the entire winter. Which kind of sucks – because then I find great products like these upcycled T-shirts by Karnival Kids. Selling dresses, tunics, skirts, and unisex hoodies, each one is a unique combo of a logo’d shirt and several prints. Somehow, this makes those cutesy “my dad can do anything” slogan T’s much much hipper.
