I was hoping one afternoon with a nanny and I’d be swinging from the chandeliers with my oodles of extra freetime. But, alas, 4 hours of tot-free work time wasn’t enough to catch me up. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Still, it was a win-win on all fronts. Because I came home and not only had Birdie had a fabulous time with her newfound friend (and I believe the feeling was mutual), but she missed me enough that I got some extra long hugs, full-body leans, sloppy kisses and lap-sits.
