You know how kids get all the viruses and colds? Well, she’s caught another one, and it seems I’m on the verge of getting it as well. THIS part of childhood I’d prefer to skip the second time around. Sigh. So we’ll be having a low-key day around the house. Maybe I’ll show her some of these links to keep us occupied. I’m just hoping we’re feeling better on Sunday, so we can go to Rock the Cradle (I’ve been looking forward to this since last year’s event) What’s on your weekend’s agenda?
Here’s this week’s favorites (some of these are from a couple week’s ago – Valentine’s day wrecked my schedule!)

- How to make abstract art with kids post is outstanding/fantastic/stupendous. Go. Make some abstract art with your kids right now. via Design Mom.
- Take a moment to wonder at all the easy musical experiments created by Lullatone in this endearing video. Then, try to create your own at home with your kidlets! Found via notcot.org.
- I wish I had the money and the perfectly-behaved-child to go with this amazing Vintage Danish Modern Children’s Chair.
- Lil’ Magoolie has a very clever idea for storing all your matchbox cars. It’s so simply brilliant.
