Funky Modern Boys Clothing, Fashion and Style

I think Wolfie’s pose in the above photo says it all: TGIF AND TGIS[pring]!

I spent my entire week coughing up a lung (yet another cold) and showing Birdie that box elder bugs are nothing to be afraid of and nothing to kill. In other words, the dozens of bugs that keep finding their way into our house are being hand carried gently out to our deck several times a day. (Except when she’s not looking and I kill the buggers, with zest, arrrrrgh.) The bright side is the fact that it’s warm enough that the box elder bugs are even here. I’m pretending the glass is half-full (and not with bugs, thank you very much).

I’ve gathered so many springy finds this week around the interwebs, join me for the top faves:

  • (image above) Wolfie had a birthday this week, and his lovable loving mom, Alix, showcased some totally fashionable styles on Modern Kiddo. Makes me see the cool side of dressing a boy – you’ve got to check these pics out!
  • This outstanding list of Springy craft and sewing projects makes me want to take a Craft Staycation and make them all.
  • Tons of great springy product finds can be found in this post from Spearmint Baby.
  • Gabrielle’s super-bright easter eggs were done the natural way – no kits required. Oh the Easter possibilities!
  • You have to download this amazing Paper Peter and the Wolf Paper Theater – then nab the downloadable puppets off of Etsy for only $5 more.
  • A DIY Beaded Easter Basket (no, it looks pretty easy, really) from Design Sponge, found via Creature Comforts.
  • I heard about Writopia Lab’s Young Poets Open Mic event on Sunday and wish I could be there, if you’re in the New York area, check it out here.

And, last but not least, if you missed it, yesterday’s one-of-a-kind download is from yours truly. Snag the Printable Downloads for Baabsie Lamb and Teensie Bunny Paper Puppets right now!
