dolls and daydreams make your own stuffed doll and clothing PDF patterns on etsy

I think I may have already said this – and I firmly blame my mother and the amazing dolls she made for me when I was wee – but I’m obsessed with dreaming up the perfect handmade doll for Birdie. Something simple but with lots of accessories – like these make your own dolls from Dolls and Daydreams. You can find the girls, some boys, some frogs, toadstools, owls, deer, and foxes! Foxes! I love them all. And the pattern prices are pretty affordable – so get the doll patterns (and the fox and the owl), the vintage dress patterns, the shoe patterns, and even the waistcoat patterns. There are some serious wardrobe options here.

These are absolutely darling. I want the little girl with tan skin, she is so lovely. Very simple designs, just wish I had the sewing skills to execute the designs! :/

I KNOW! We should take a sewing class together. Somehow. Don’t have a clue when I’d fit it in, but, you know, in dreamtime.

your site is lovely!
I’m new here…found you through pinterest, and I’ll be back soon!

If you’re still thinking about dolls, there are lots of fun ones here: http://www.bitofwhimsydolls.com.

I bought a pattern and modified it first for my daughter (my 4 year old has preferences on these sorts of things!) and then again to turn it into a boy.

Pattern could be improved, but it’s still easy enough to follow and I love the designs!

Thanks Eve – I’m a fellow pinterest addict too ;)

I love Bit of Whimsy too – thanks for sharing that, and your experience with the patterns. Now I just have to find time to learn to sew some of each!
