Your word of the day: Nook Nook. The defintion? It means “Lot’s of Fun” In Thai. Isn’t that sweet? I’d like a day full of nook nook please, with a side of giggles.
The beauty of nook nook is multi-faceted. Each item is handmade by a family-run workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand and supports the amazing skills inherent to people of the area. The quirky fabric combinations are uber-charming (I’m in LOVE with Pierre the Bear and Wallace the caterpillar, above!). And obviously, the vintage styling is over-the-big-top cute. Nook Nook also creates some adorable purses, keychains and other kid-like accessories. Check out their US Nook-Nook website to see my big-top reference, some very cute design awaits you there. I have ordered one of these toys from My Sweet Muffin for a birthday gift. i must say that they looks much better on the pictures than they do in real life.
on the other hand, i have ordered Moulin Roty’s Louison Rag Doll as well, and it is an absolute delight! i’m going to get one for myself! :)
