A brand as hip as American Apparel Kids needs a hip word, something cool, something like awesome sauce. Yep. A little over-the-top, a little uber-trend, makes your head tilt just a wee bit. But it’s worthy I promise. Just look at all this cuteness. I keep forgetting to check out American Apparel for anything beyond the basics (we love their Tank Dreses for me and for Birdie), but this fall I want a little bit of everything. Though, in particular, I’m thinking she needs some metallic shiny leggings in blue, or gold, or maybe fuschia. I mean, really. She does, right? I’m not insane?
Not to mention, they’ve added a fun selection of equally cool non American Apparel items, in a category they’re calling Multibrand (how very it’s-so-not-cool-that-it’s-cool). They’ve got sweet Doodle Dolls – both a superhero and an angel/fairy. Some equally awesome books, and a pretty extensive collection of beauty products (for you and your kidlets too). But the things that have totally caught my fancy? The dead stock vintage 80’s watches. How hilarious are these? If Birdie were only old enough to tell time, I’d be nabbing one. Like, now.
