Ok, honestly? I’m so glad this week is coming to a close. It’s been a long one for several random reasons that will remain nameless. Let’s just say that I’m looking forward to packing up and seeing my family this weekend. I may even get to dig through my parents’ attic looking for treasures from my youth. Plus, we’re going to a cool wedding on Sunday and I can’t wait to be a part of the lovely couple’s big day. Summer weekends are a wonderful thing. I’d love to hear, what are you up to this weekend?

This week’s top  online obsessions:

  • (image above) What an adorable series of photos and an even cooler kiddie fashion ensemble from Wovenplay and Stella McCartney Kids (two FAVES over here!) on Diaper Style Memoirs. It’s giving me ideas. Wonder if Birdies green & white striped skirted swimsuit could do some double duty. Hmmm. (And, BRILLIANT little DIY necklace Inessa!)
  • I keep seeing the Zoku Quick Pop Maker on various blogs and am starting to crave my own. The speed of making Popsicles when the craving hits instead of hours beforehand? Could be worth it.
  • I made a really fun – and super quick – version of this DIY necklace. Birdie broke it approximately 4 hours later. (and ON MY BIRTHDAY.) Next, I want to try making this bracelet and this necklace. via Pinterest.
  • Loving these boyish handmade bibs, found via Pinterest.
  • I found a very hip coloring app for our iPad called HeyHey. Just note, it fills the shapes in for you – no messy lines (I kind of like watching Birdie color outside of the lines!). Via Lil’ Magoolie. (UPDATE, Thank goodness HeyHey commented and let me know I’m just a little slow, you can indeed color outside the lines.)

HeyHey MizBig … thanks for mentioning us! Just to put things straight. While developing HeyHey we thought it was essential for kids to be able to make mistakes (we all learn from them :) ). So, one of the coloring options allows kids to fill shapes, but the spray cans offer the possibility to color free hand with some assistance but still enough room for mistakes. HeyHey! Enjoy your weekend!
