Bright Star Kids Back to School Label Kits for Kids

So. It’s August. As you may have noticed, back-to-school season is in full swing. I’m kicking and screaming like a toddler about the whole thing. I don’t want summer to be over! More importantly, we’ve got big changes happening this fall – Birdie starts PRESCHOOL. It’s bittersweet, as I’m sure many other moms are well aware of. One more reason to drag my feet about the whole entire shebang.

Thankfully one of Small for Big’s lovely advertising partners, Bright Star Kids, helpfully sent me their brilliant Preschool Labels Kit to get me started. A small package arrived from Australia (don’t worry, they ship everywhere very reasonably) full of a big pack of goodness. Now we have name labels with Birdie’s name and a perfect little bird icon (they have tons to choose from, but gee whiz that bird is just about perfect). We’re ready to label her clothes (washable, iron-on labels!), her water bottles (dishwasher safe!), her shoes (special feet-shaped labels, aw sweet!), her bag, her forehead, her toes, and maybe her glasses? Bright Star Kids has all kinds of great labeling options – from school labels to allergy labeling to pacifier labels to learn-how-to-type labels for your computer keyboards (seriously! Kinda cool). Enter the code USASAVE10 to save 10% off any order over $40.

I can’t help but think they’d look lovely dressing up the minimalist Bobble Carry Lunch Box or lunch bag – and the carbon filtration water bottles inside. If Birdie was a little older these Bobble items would be our next back-to-school purchase.

Instead, it’s time to pick the backpack. And the indoor shoes. The lists have begun! (stay tuned for more posts as I solve these all-consuming decisions!)

Looked it up and coincidentally, it is “Any one of several South American wrens, noted for the sweetness of their song”

No way? Seriously? You’re pulling my leg. How cosmically weird is that? I guess I can call her that now too…

There as certainly a great deal to learn about this issue. I really like all of the points you made.
