Sundries and Plunder handmade leather masks for kids and adults

I know, we’re all going a little over the top with Halloween costumes right? It’s every parent’s perogative to go nuts around every holiday. But every time my head is grinding it’s gears thinking of all the head-to-toe possibilities, I’ll suddenly remember I live in the great white North. You know, where the chances of snow on Halloween aren’t all that improbable, and the temepratures will most likely be chilly. Suddenly every halloween costume has to involve a coat. (because no, I haven’t yet caved in to the shopping mall version of Trick or Treating!)

Anyhoo, if my 2 year old would leave a mask on – highly doubtful – I would definitely start there, building the other details around the mask. Luckily, there are some pretty awesome non-licensed classic masks to choose from, which I’ll just keep in mind for the future. Theses masks are the kind that could hang out in your dress up bins or on your wall for the entire year. So scroll down for my favorite picks, and tell me, what are your Halloween costume plans this year? Do you worry about using it again afterwards?

Hahahaha! That’s hilarious! But reminds me that one could turn just about any image into an awesome DIY mask! (I remember seeing some Star Wars masks on a blog at some point, very cool)
