I’m relaxing my usual self-imposed rule that a featured item must be under $100. Why? Two reasons. #1. ViolaStudio’s Dolls are totally worth it. and #2. The Holidays are upon us. (cue slightly menacing music. Or, frantic Flight of the Bumlebees music, depending on your mood!) It’s that time of year where we’re all looking for the perfect, extra fabulous gift for the wee ones in our lives. I’ll be gathering up the annual Small for Big Gift Guides soon, but in the meantime, most of my posts will be geared towards the upcoming giftstravaganzas that are awaiting so many of us!
So. ViolaStudio. Though the shop is full of beautiful handmade goodies from snack bags to pillows, I’m here to highlight the amazing dolls. Beyond the simple baby dolls, there are two main varieties, the 17″ Sunshine Girls or Sundance Boys at $59, or the 19″ Studio Dolls ranging from $139 – $189. Plus, adorable accessories like aprons, bags, sleep sets, stuffed animal pals, and the like. The details on the Studio Dolls are so wonderful – removable clothing, shoes, coats, and scarves. All the dolls use repurposed pre-washed and vintage fabrics, and little suede shoes. There are even boy dolls! Honestly, they’re like a perfect spoonful of sugar: just enough sweet.
