I’m dreaming of all kinds of thing: 36 hour days (or maybe needing only 4 hours of sleep instead) … Chocolate cake filled with a fudge center that has absolutely no calories … My daughter always being her best self and forgetting how to whine … Creating things with my very own hands and never worrying about who likes them … Aaaah, yeah.
A more reliastic dream? SPRING! Okay, maybe it’s cabin fever talking. But Hanako’s dreaming foxes remind me of all of my big dreams and the little ones: like green grass between my toes. The colors are just so fresh and joyful. These felt wonders would be the icing on spring coats and backpacks. Hanako also creates – by hand, I might add – little girls with bows and hats and glasses, hedgehogs, and other things so adorable that you’ll just have to go and see them for yourself. It’s time for you to remember all of those dreams too.
