Designer accessories for drawing and for the home office

My “home office” in a corner of our downstairs is finally almost functional. A real desk, a very nice ergonomic chair, an iMac with a fatty monitor, and the work to keep me busy. (I won’t dwell on the entire wall covered in random storage items, or the 2 vacuum cleaners that will fit nowhere else, or the full-on drum set. Nope, not me.) Now I’m ready for the little things that make it all feel good (and will help me ignore the above eyesores). Here are some of the random ideas I’ve bookmarked this week as “must-haves”.

I’m constantly making a little pile of pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, and sketchbook to cart around to the various comfortable spots in my house. This Journal Bandolier (above, $17.95) made of recycled rubber would keep me from losing things down the couch or in Birdie’s hand every 5 minutes.

I love dolls. I’m also a toy designer. What better fit for my very professional office (ha) than a very professional-looking doll ($39) from Made by Agah?

When you sit alone at home all day, you find you want to reassert your independence,  your individuality, your … je ne sais quoi. I need me some bird tats. How about these temporary tattoos from Whitney Jane, (3 for $10) to remind myself that I’m, erm, cool? I might even pretend my abs look as good as the picture.

Those tats! What a great shot! I love the birds. This kind of makes me want to get a temporary sleeve. Just for a day. :)

Linked to this for my Fresh Find Friday today. Thanks for the roundup!
