I’m coooing over Areaware’s new Dovetail Animals, ($19). Each animal is made of three pieces – and the pieces are interchangeable. So, a fox with a llama head? Yes please. What a great birthday gift – two or three animals make an instant collection.
I’m imagining Birdie puzzling through these animals She’d love the playmates as much as the puzzles. Playmates that she will force to talk via my voice – I swear all I hear is “I want [insert favorite animal/doll of the moment] to talk Momma! Make her talk!” This also includes inanimate objects like the kitchen table, pillows and silverware. I’d prefer to play ventriloquist to Areaware’s menagerie, instead of my furniture!
