rainy season? Bogs wash!

Bogs Rain boots for kids

Ok, all painful title puns aside, it’s getting rainy over here. Every spring, after a long cold/crisp/clean winter, I make the shocking discovery that my kidlet really really really knows how to get dirty. And wet. In -5 seconds flat. This year we’re so well-prepared I’m hardly concerned (well, except for her butt, is it impossible to keep a 3 year old’s butt dry and clean?!).

Bogs sent us a pair of their Classic High Tuscany Rain Boots and I’m rather floored. These things are not your average rain gear. They’re totally heavy duty, with a molded footbed and thicker soles that are apparently self-cleaning? Well, the ridges have worked well so far. They include an antimicrobial insole, and the neoprene lining is super thick and plush. These are the boots that will be handed down to other kids (and how rare is that for kids shoes?) If only they fit me – maybe I need a pair of their new Gum Rubber Boots (so retro!).

Love these rain boots, especially the one’s with designs on them.

I agree, the designs are playful without being babyish – love that.
