Now here’s a unique way to help kids stay in touch with heavy, paper filled books that smell of ink and libraries (so much better than smelling a Kindle). Get them the Little Librarian Book Kit, (&19.99). Some of my fondest memories, best craft projects, and largest imaginings are thanks to my local library. Maybe this little kit will doubly reinforce the amazing qualities of checking out a good book. Now I’m itching for the library – time to go!

Excellent find. I’m on the hunt for great “this book belongs to” stamp for my kiddos. Looked on Etsy, but haven’t found any that I’ve liked yet! Any leads?
I’ve seen some good ones, but I’m not at my laptop … But for Birdie, since birds are so obvious to us, we’ve got a big bird stamp, and I write her name, date, and any info (gift from grandma!) around the edge of the bird. Works great!
But I’ll try and round up my bookmarks on bookplates (heh) and do a post soon!
Where oh where do you find all of these genius things? This one is particularly near and dear to my heart as I’m such a book lover. My first job was as a book shelver at the local library. Loved it!
I can’t remember where I saw this! LOL, I wish my first job had been in a library … Waiting tables is so not intellectual ;)
love it!
