round about:
floating polar bears & tooth fairy biz cards

by mari

polar bear balloons, magnetic wallpaper, wooden puzzles, tooth fairy cards, DIY necklaces, cardboard furniture

This weekend I intend to do nothing more than find a way to sit outside in my big swing and listen to the wind in the trees. That’s about all I feel like dealing with – and what better way to spend the last weekend in June? What’s a perfect summer afternoon for you?

Round About the web this week:

  • Handmade Charlotte has a new DIY series this summer, and I’m loving all of it – especially this DIY pinwheel necklace for kiddos.
  • Moo.com is holding business card contests for mythical creatures – and I think they should sell their favorite Tooth Fairy Business Cards, don’t we need one under our little kids pillows? Yes, I think so.
  • Strollers come in big boxes, but Joolz has made those boxes a little extra special – each one comes with instructions to turn it into a useable piece of furniture. Found via Inhabitots.
  • These beautiful wooden puzzles feature original illustrations by Sarah Nicholas Williams, and would be a gorgeous heirloom addition to your collection. Found via Cool Mom Picks.
  • I found this floating polar bear balloon on Pinterest, and it just makes me smile!
  • Magnetic Wallpaper from Magscapes seems so supremely logical and practical, why haven’t we seen it before? Found via Design Milk.

I even have an idea for construction of a new facility
to replace that evil place known as Gitmo (this is very important because we don’t want to create a bad impression in the minds of our fellow members in the United Nations).

It is very compact to carry and easy to operate as well.
Yes, this is the way of the world, but it doesn’t have to be your world.

Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your website?
My blog site is in the very same niche as yours and my users would certainly
benefit from a lot of the information you provide here.
Please let me know if this alright with you.

Thanks!
