Schylling old-fashioned tin cash register toy for kids

Birdie loves counting. We’ve even seen some really exciting moments where she’s clearly doing math! Momma pride! Of course, she does tend to forget about 5 and 6. She likes to count like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, all the way to 20. But somehow, 5 and 6 always get jipped? What did they ever do to her?

This little Schylling Tin Cash Register, $29.99 has been our latest addition at home, and she is having a blast. It’s not great for older kids who might be ready for fractions and true money counting. But it’s combination of working buttons, play cash, an opening cash drawer, and a nice little ding is just what she needs. At 3 1/2 years old, she’ll spend forever organizing her change into the drawer, handing me cash to pay for my items, and playing store. It’s one of those perfect little childhood moments that I’m so honored to share with her.
