an especially cute way to travel

Travel Wees - mmmcrafts handmade sewing pattersn and diy tutorials for stuffed toys and dolls on etsy

Do you know someone who needs an extra pal on-hand those first few weeks of school? Or maybe you know someone who’s headed off to college. Or heck, maybe you’re planning a big trip with your family – the holidays actually aren’t that far away. I’ve fallen in love with these little Travel Wees. They’re armed with sweet messages asking that you bring them along on all of your adventures. I like the idea of taking photos of them in all kinds of locales – a la the travelling garden gnomes phenom. Regardless, how can anyone say no to those big eyes, and those perfectly mini cameras! It makes me want to go out and buy several tins of Altoids to get ready for the making. (And I don’t really eat Altoids)

Stop by mmmcrafts for more tutes and patterns too – there are some great stuffed toy options (I’m a huge fan of Katy Kitty). And with a couple of clicks you can order your own PDF pattern with full instructions to make as many of your own Travel Wees as possible. I’d say a dozen or so would be a good start.
