filling in the gaps with books

Best children's picture books for kids

Now that Christmas is over, it’s time for me to begin round two: Birdie’s birthday. For once, I actually have several gifts squirreled away for her already, just waiting for January 7th. But I always take a long hard look at the gifts she received for Christmas, and then fill in accordingly with a couple of things I know we’d like to add to her “collection”.

This year, it’s going to be books. These books have been on my wishlist (I mean Birdie’s wish list, of course!) for weeks now. Her Birthday has merely become a convenient excuse. I never feel guilty or excessive when buying books for my girl, and these are all available for under $12 a piece at Buy.com. Guilt-free on all fronts!

My Name is Not Isabella, by Jennifer Fossberry
This Moose Belongs to Me, by Oliver Jeffers
Just Being Audrey, by Margaret Cardillo
Red Knit Cap Girl, by Naoko Stoop

I’ve also discovered a far too convenient way to purchase things online: V.me by Visa. As a gal who probably completes 65% of her purchases online, V.me makes it super easy to check out – even on my phone. After signing up with your standard checkout information (passwords, email, address, credit card, etc.) future purchasing is as fast as confirming your email and password. It’s a safe and extra fast way to check out on the go. Parfait.

This post is brought to you by V.me by Visa. Online payment. Simple and secure.

He’s amazing – and I love the new stylistic direction of this new Moose book too – GORGEOUS.
