top 10 dolls of the week

Top 10 Handmade Dolls for kids this holiday christmas season

I think I lost several hours the other day searching around online for some new favorite dolls. I get a little obsessed. I could blame it on my little girl, because she gives me such a great excuse. But if I’m honest, she actually told me the other day she doesn’t need a new baby doll because she already has one. Um, how can this be my daughter? I suppose I should count my blessings, because if she’s not completely doll-obsessed, then maybe she won’t be completely princess-pink-girly-sparkles obsessed either? I do want to raise an enlightened modern woman, afterall. And hey, that means I get to play with all the dolls by myself. That suits me just fine.

So here are my top 10 favorite dolls this week. My favorites change pretty regularly – check out my Best Dolls Out There Pinterest board for more ideas (though many of those are not readily available for purchase!)

What a great list! I’m becoming a little doll-obsessed myself after spending many hours online searching for the perfect dolly for my 3-year-old. I can’t stand those plastic dolls with the empty eyes, I much prefer the soft Waldorf and rag doll styles. The Goose Beary Shop on Etsy makes lovely Waldorf dolls at amazingly reasonable prices! I chose one for my girl’s upcoming birthday but will keep your list handy for future purchases :)

Great find Paige! The Waldorf style faces have such an open sweetness to them, perfect for a 3 year old!
