So I happen to think matte white porcelain is a beautiful substance, and I would like to see an example of it in every room of my house. I also love love love the simple shape of an egg, what a beautiful example of natural simplicity. So I was pleased as punch to see these Eggnots, which are both ceramic and egg-shaped. Eureka!
Especially since I’m allergic to eggs anyway. I could care less if we use real eggs for Easter egg dying – except that Birdie does like to do her “egg work” (Which is Montessori speak for hard boiled egg cutting and prepping!). We could keep these Eggnots and add to them every year with fresh artistic examples of her growing creative skills. Though I may have to leave a couple of them un-dyed, to appreciate their whiteness. And if you’re vegan, or have severe egg allergies (I can touch eggs, some people can’t), these eggs are like a little Easter miracle.
