round about: ballerina bunnies & the history of children

It’s amazing how fate, serendipity, the universe, god, the goddess, or maybe that great big turtle in the sky can turn things around in the blink of an eye. Yesterday was one of those days where so many things felt right in the world: friends were connecting, Birdie was singing, new projects were flowing in, and to top it all off, I could hear the birds chirping in the trees for the first time since some point last year. The poor birds were probably singing their confusion: the temperature outside was a measly 20 degrees. Which, even in Minnesota, is damn cold for late March. So, Ms. Fate, now that you’re done fiddling with my future, it’s time to help Mother Nature find Spring. Then, my bliss would be complete!

I set my 3 year old up with a load of penpals, he loved it! Well, it was more drawing pals than writing but he gets so excited getting real post for him!

That’s so wonderful! I’ve been wanting to set this up for Birdie for a little while now. It’s good to hear that it works without words ;)
