Things that move on their own are the most fascinating of objects. Is it just me, or do you want to know how they work as soon as you see them? Sometimes I think I should have been an engineer, though I’m fairly certain I lack the patience required.

Each cardboard kit – an elephant, giraffe, or rhinoceros – comes with instructions and all the pieces you need to build your own walking, moving, mesmerizing animal. These kits are made for your older, wiser kiddos – recommended for ages 11 and up. Turns out you can even give them a motor using your Legos too, if you have one of those budding engineers residing in your house. They remind me a bit of this amazing wood mover, too.
