Chairs Balance Game for kids family game night from MoMA store

Games based on the good old-fashioned laws of physics are the perfect thing to pull a family together on game night. They don’t require advanced math or reading skills, which keeps a broad range of ages interested. The more physical game play is perfect for squirmy youngsters. Plus, the eventual collapse is the kind of thing kids love from the moment they knock over their first block tower!

These two games from the MoMA store are probably the most eye-catching balance games I’ve seen. Maybe they’re not as visually minimalistic as Jenga, but since that game is a bit overplayed – all puns intended – I still like these two more. Check out the Chairs Game and the Ladders Game at MoMA, and get ready for some epic tower collapses.
