Ikea Dollhouse Furniture

You may have seen the teasers back in June, but now that I finally have my new Ikea 2013-2014 catalog in hand, I think it’s safe to say that we can go to the store and look for this new dollhouse set full of Ikea classics!

I’m sure there are hard-core Ikea-ites who can name all of these iconic pieces from heart. Am I right? But since I’m not quite that well-learned, I had to look up some of the names of the pieces in Huset: a Klippan sofa, a Lack table, s Stockholm rug, an Expedit bookshelf and a Famnig Hjarta heart pillow. Plus, the box includes illustrations for a clock and a couple other additional accessories to help round out your room.

You’ve got to see this funny post from Roville too, showcasing a very well accessorized room using these pieces (and that mini spiral staircase? Cool!). Modern dollhouse furniture is so hard to find, I just may have to get a couple of these – one for Birdie and one for me!

I just bought this set for my daughter. She would have never seen the box had I not pointed it out to her but I loved it! For her, I mean. :) And that Roville link is hilarious!

Yeah, their packaging is always lacking – glad you had your eyes peeled!

Very adorable and cool. And this would definitely be a stylish upgrade from our current dollhouse furniture. I adore Ikea. I’ve told my husband I won’t live anywhere where there isn’t one. I’m kidding of course. (but not really).

LOVED the Roville “skit” post. Very cute! My sister and I spent hours creating rooms for our Barbies and other dolls. Funny because we mainly just decorated, we never actually played with the dolls! :))

LOL, me too – I loved laying out a room and gathering all the details, but playing in it? Eh.
