Some people like to summarize things in a journal: one sentence a day, or week, or whatever. I’m realizing that these Round About posts I do every week have become my journal of sorts. But what’s creeping me out is how many times I sit here, writing this post, astruggling to remember what happened in the past week? It shouldn’t be that tough should it? I wish I was the type of gal who could commit to writing a sentence a day about my life. It sounds easy, it really does, but anything repetitive like that just gets thrown to the side in my life.

So. Hm. This week. Drumming my fingers on the side of my head (since I’m not at a table, as usual). Ok, I’ll give you my “I’m a good mom after all” moment. We were watching The Cat in the Hat on PBS, when Thing 1 and Thing 2 played the theme song using glasses filled with water. Birdie asked, “How did they DO that? “So for once, without hesitation, I said “Let’s find out!”, found some glasses and water, and we got to work. It was so worth it.

Round about the internet this week:

  • I think we have to make pom pom ghosts today. via Mr. Printables.
  • Ok, or maybe these eraser stamp skeletons? also via Mr. Printables.
