I think, as Spring Breaks go, ours was pretty dang fine. This week included the movie theater, the zoo, a big playdate at our favorite indoor playground, a painted ukulele, 6 painted canvases (mini sized), 3 treasure hunts, fabulous fancy foods, and possibly a water park if today goes as planned. I mean really, could we spoil Birdie any more rotten? After all my worries about losing touch with her, it’s been wonderful to step back from my world and firmly into hers. That’s not to say I wasn’t tired of it all by around 4:00 every day, because I totally was. And of course, my work world suffered for it. But it was worth it – the number of times she told me she loved me was a little proof of that. I highly recommend it!
