This week was a bit of a blur. Birdie came down with the stomach flu, and then passed some version of it on to both of her parents. Sigh. When is Spring going to arrive again? On the plus side, after 5 years we finally installed shelves in her closet and organized all of her things. Wow, it feels good to see her puzzles, toys, and games in neat piles that disappear behind a closed door!
Meanwhile, round about the web this week:
- What a dream project – creating a Aladdin’s City for an opera. via Made by Joel.
- Such beautiful designs with so few colors. via Grain Edit.
- 3D printing with an app? Okay! via The Fox is Black.
- A study that finally shows playing with Barbie limits girls goals. via Oregon State.
- If only Birdie and I could do yoga like this duo. Amazing. @Laurasykora
- I’m salivating for this dairy-free chocolate making kit. OMG. via Funkytime.
And two more nuggets:
- Our first favorite book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, turns 45 this year – see how they’re starting the celebration!
- Want to know a bit more about me and my work? Check out my interview with Fish Indie.
