round about: flower people & yarn keys

This week's top links: doll patterns, modern house remodel, flower people, the loop magazine, diy key covers, fascinating websites

I’ve spent lots of time over the last couple of months trying to wrap my head around my new and “improved” schedule. Birdie started full days at her Montessori school – which we were all super excited to see! But, it’s the end of an era for the two of us. I’m surprised to see how lonely I am when she’s gone until 3:30. It’s ironic because part of me has been looking forward to this ever since she started preschool 2 1/2 years ago: I could see the pros of having time at home alone to get work done. Now, I have too much time. I head out to pick her up each day feeling simultaneously like I completed so much and yet didn’t get anywhere. Plus, she comes home worn out and cranky. So though I’m trying to make time for the two of us together, it’s rough to find it and to enjoy it. I’m sure other parents can sympathize with all of this, any words of wisdom?

Yep, it’s a transition. You’ll get used to. Give it time. I love your pics and links for the week. Hooray for flower head!
