6 Summer DIYs for Kids with Artterro Crafts

Summer is coming, and I am jumping around the house in anticipation. I always start making big mental lists of art and craft things to do with Birdie. I could say I do this to keep her occupied, but to be honest I love them just as much – or more – than she does!

This year I’m particularly inspired by DIY projects that get us outside and enjoying our own backyard. I think that may be partly due to our cold, windy, rainy Spring. I haven’t been outside much yet, and I feel like a caffeine addict going through withdrawal – jittery and antsy and anxious for some SUN. So, whether we gather up sticks to wrap, or rocks to dangle, or crayons to melt in the sun, you better believe we’ll be outside when we do it!

A big thank you to Artterro for sponsoring this post. Artterro’s eco-friendly craft kits are perfect for summer crafts: they’re filled with beautiful, eco-friendly materials (no cheap plastic or glitter stickers here). Whether you choose book-making, bubble wands, felt jewelry, art dolls, journals, or any of their amazing kits, I know you’ll be inspired by Artterro. Thanks Artterro! All opinions, as always, are my own.

I know what you mean about being antsy for summer. It’s time to bring on the sun!
