National Geographic Kids Animal Jam Game Paper Printables - Kangaroo, Koala, and House

Animal Jam, in association with National Geographic, and Small for Big are starting a great new partnership! I’ll be creating printable animal toys for you to download, print, and assemble your own animals and environments: with a different land and its animals featured each month. Today is the second land in our series.

Animal Jamin association with National Geographic, is an online virtual playground for kids. Players create and customize their own animal characters and dens, chat with friends, adopt pets, team up for adventures, ask real scientists questions, and feed their curiosity about animals and the natural world around them. All the educational content is free, though there is a membership option for additional play.

The game includes several different lands to explore. Last month we looked at Appondale, which is based in the Savannah. This month, it’s time for Kimbara, which looks to the outback. With a kangaroo, koala, animal clinic, bushes, and a windmill, you’re all set to play!

To make the Kangaroo and Koala:

  • Cut out the kangaroo and koala.
  • Fold the sides of the bodies, and the heads.
  • Glue the tabs between the back legs of the kangaroo and on her nose.
  • Glue the belly to the legs of the koala.
  • Now play!

To make the bush, clinic, and windmill:

  • Cut out the pieces.
  • Fold the side tabs back to stand them up.
  • Now play!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them – let me know what you think in the comments!

Thanks you SO much for making Small for Big!!! So far I have a Lion, an eagle, and I’m making the kangaroo right now! Now you should make a Crystal Sands themed one with a seal and maybe an otter.
