round about: cuckoos & cat bellies

by mari

This week's top links online include cuckoo clock illustration, kids halloween fashion, erin loechner and lunya, dry erase poster diy, and capsule toys.

It’s one of those weeks where I look around at some of the other blog posts I’m loving and think repeatedly: why didn’t I think of that? Or why didn’t I find that, or why didn’t I get that opportunity? The comparison game – as many bloggers know all too well – can rear it’s ugly head at the most inopportune moments. I’m actually on the cusp of some really great things, and I know it. But, you know, if you’re a fan of Small for Big, feel free to let me know that I’m delusional and that this blog is great – it’s always good to hear it! Though even if I don’t hear it, I’ll still be blogging – I think at this point it’s in my blood. How was your week?

Meanwhile, my favorite links round about the internet this week:

  • I’m drooling for these colors. via Kid Independent.
  • Brilliant post idea: kids animal fashions that double as costumes! via Hello Wonderful.
  • I want a capsule collection too! via Design for Minikind.
  • A reusable dry erase poster? Love it. via A Beautiful Mess.
  • The Cool kids. via Baby Jungle.
  • I want to see all of these top toy stores (and I’ve been to a couple), but I’m lusting after the capsule toy store in Japan! via Buzzfeed.
