Mlle Dimanche Doll Kit - DIY Handmade Doll Tutorial - How To make a Doll | Small for Big

Ah, little French dolls. With cozy hats, hand-knit sweaters, pouty little lips, and strappy ballerina shoes.

Mlle Dimanache Doll Kit - DIY Handmade Dolls

That’s what you get with a Mademoiselle Dimanche Doll Kit. (and yes, Dimanche means Sunday, hence my post title!). If you want a new craft project to start out with this summer, I highly suggest one of these. Each doll kit comes with fabrics, patterns, and a step by step tutorial. The basic kit gives you the doll, and you can purchase the add-on kit to get all of these incredible fashions. The hardest part will be deciding which outfit to make first!

Oh shoot Leonie, that’s a great question and I don’t know!!! We’ll have to ask her and see what she says. There’s always Google translate too …

Thank you very much for your post ! I jus want to say that you did a little mistake in it : the doll kit is for a nude doll : you don’t have the pattern and fabric for the outfit if you buy a doll kit BUT you can buy our pattern book with ALL the outfits patterns (livret de patrons Mademoiselle Dimanche), so you don’t have to choose ! :)
For Leonie : the instructions are all in french, but you have a big PDF book with the kit with lot of pictures, and if you need some words translation, I can help you, you’re very welcome (please contact us on the shop) :) . For the patternbook, all is in french too but lots of drawings explains everything. Some US editors of the STLYLO magazine have sewn one, you can contact her for this experience, she doesn’t speak french.
Have all a nice day, and thank you so much !

Hi Melanie, you’ll have to look at the comment above from “cesdimanche” who created the patterns. Also, check the links in the post and see if there’s a way to contact them.

Thank you for the inspiration to start on my kit even though I don’t read French very well. I will have to order the book of patterns, I assumed the kt would come with fabric and patterns for the clothing! Do you know if the book includes the knitted sweater pattern shown on the cover of poupee Angele?

Thanks, Susan
