Sometimes at the end of the week, the outcome can surprise you. I thought it was just an average week. But thanks to a slightly lighter workload, and a flipped daily schedule (due to Birdie’s day camp), the two of us girls actually spent the week with a ton of quality time. So much so, that she was angry at me every day when I left her at camp because she’d rather stay with me – that never happens. So I guess the week before school starts this fall – at a brand new school, which could be a rough transition for her – I’ll have to make sure NOT to have any quality time? Oh kids, parenting you is so hard.
