There can never be enough dolls in this world, I’ve decided that long ago.
I love sharing dolls like Sweater Doll’s beauties with you, because I think we can all enjoy a little doll-sized beauty now and again. These dolls are made from linen and upcycled fabric scraps, making each one very unique. They’re well-made enough to give to kids, but beautiful enough to sit on your own shelf too. Plus, Sweater Doll sells the sewing patterns too – for these dolls and several other styles – so you can make your own heirloom creation if you prefer. That means more dolls to share!

Yay Allison! Love you dolls!
I totally agree! :)
Aw, thanks, Mari! I’m so glad you like them! This pattern is probably one of the very simplest I sell yet and it’s the embellishments and costume make the doll. You could make a lifeguard, a tattooed barista, Marie Antoinette! Dolls can be a maker’s exploration into story and I LOVE story. Never too many stories and you are correct: never too many dolls.
Hi
Do you still sell your cute doll pattern?
The Etsy link appears to be broken.
I love the dolls & possibly of diversity!!
Thank you
Joan ♥️
Hi, Joan. I closed my Etsy shop of 12 years in September 2022 when they required a new bank verification whose terms said that you’d agree they could sell your personal and banking information. I can sell you the pattern directly if you email me at sweaterdoll (at) gmail (dot) you-know-what-comes-next. :-)
Hello,
Thanks for your interesting article. I am passionate about small cloth dolls and those are very nice.
