Yep, there are suddenly TONS of coloring books out there. They’re kind of all screaming for attention. Some of them are beautiful and precious, others are less original filler, and some of them are totally hopping on the bandwagon.
Then I get to see an amazing coloring book like this stunner from Doodlers Anonymous and I remember how awesome a coloring book can really be. Doodlers Anonymous Epic Coloring Book gathers together 90 contemporary artists from around the globe, all bound together into one book for your coloring pleasure.
I’ll let them speak for themselves:
“The book represents many styles of art from pure doodling, to refined and beautiful line drawings. A magical library, a lotus plant, a crowd of friendly commuters carrying umbrellas, intricate dream cities, cars, creatures, and cartoons-each illustration represents more than a stock pattern to help you de-stress-it’s the work of an individual artist willing to share his or her favorite thing.”
Made and printed in the US on paper that’s certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, it even features a sewn binding, letting the pages lie flat while coloring. Let’s put it this way, Doodlers Anonyouse Epic Coloring Book is a book you can buy for your kids, and then color it all when they’re not looking. Or, in our household, Birdie always wants me to color with her – now we have a book we can enjoy coloring together!
A big thanks to Doodlers Anonymous for sending us one of these Epic Coloring Books! As always, all opinions are my own.
