make this: st. patrick’s day rainbow crown

by mari

All I can do is hum “Somewhere, Over the Rainbow” over and over and over when I look at this crown. I should really learn more of the words to that song – all I know is those four! Plus something about bluebirds (maybe next time I’ll add some bluebirds to the crown!)

St. Patrick’s Day is the sweetest, slightly misunderstood, often overlooked holiday. We do very little to celebrate at our house – though I love seeing all the green milk and other “lucky” foods popping up on Pinterest, along with the shamrocks and pinch proof craft projects. Still, I think my favorite thing about Leprechauns is probably one of their favorite things too: their secret hidey holes. You know, the ends of the rainbow, with piles of gold just waiting for you.

So this printable is the perfect Leprechaun’s friend, and it will see you well past St. Paddy’s Day. The little pot of gold is completely optional, so after the 17th, just remove that gold and you’ll have a rainbow afternoon even on the gloomiest, glummest days. Stop by Smallful to nab your own Over the Rainbow Crown for a measly $1 – now isn’t that lucky?

And, hey, if you’re in the mood for magical impossible things, go check out the Unicorn and Dragon Masks too!
