It may be “the end of summer”, but around here the heat and humidity is going strong. I’m not a big fan of store-bought sugary frozen treats (I tend to avoid processed sugar altogether actually) so when I saw these stainless steel popsicle molds via Apartment Therapy, I just had to highlight them. Because I’m also not a big fan of plastic junk. These remind me of the old kitchen gadgets my grandma and great aunt had – some of which I still use in our kitchen. In other words, metal lasts longer than plastic. That is, of course, beyond all the general safety issues surrounding plastics these days. You will, however, need to stock up on your popsicle sticks (luckily the manufacturer is working on selling bamboo sticks soon).
And, for the record, just get your minds out. of. the. gutter. Right now.
