My favorite back-to-school item? It’s a lunchbox, of course. You’re chatting with someone who’s had to carry her own homemade food with her everywhere for the last eight years or so. My food allergies are legendary at family gatherings and at my old office. So I’ve always got my eye out for the cool and unique lunch storage option. It’s a nice way to treat myself when surrounded by everyone else’s super enticing meals (pizza, birthday cakes, cookies, tacos, you name it, I’ve ogled it). So here’s a couple of my favorites this year – all, of course, are super kid friendly too! Now the only question is, what the heck do you pack for your kids’ lunches? Share your favorite ideas in the comments!
(image above) – Goodbyn Lunchbox 8 – $24. When I saw these last year, I wanted one immediately. Cool shape, easy to clean, recyclable when you’re finally done with it, and it comes with stickers? What a no-brainer.
(image below) Kittie Thermal Lunchbag, $8.95.The price is so right on for this one – and the styles (monkey, frog, or kittie) are adorable too.
(bottom image) So Young Mother Lunch Box, $29.95. A more minimal solution with some great graphic choices (rocket ships, giraffes, planes, etc.) and still thermal and practical – especially with the long strap!

Lunchboxes have come a long way since I was a kiddie. I love the third one – enough so that I’d probably use it today!
Exactly Cassie. I love finding design that straddles that line between kids and adults!
