If you missed it, yesterday’s post on toy safety and manufacturers has left me at a loss for words. At least, that’s my excuse for today. That, and the fact this perfectly imperfect clock really doesn’t need my anecdotal storytime to make it any cooler than it already is. The facts as I’ve found them: This Eye Clock is by Mike Mak, and is selling for a mere $35 over at Uncommon Goods. It may not teach your children the time, but I do think it would be a sneaky way for you to know the time whenever you wanted, kind of like magic.
Did you figure it out? Each eye is pointing to the appropriate number. So it’s telling you the time, in a rather oddball (eyeball?), nebulous kind of way. Time’s all relative anyway, right?

awesome!!!
That’s pretty cool! Might take some getting used to!
Very true, I think I’d have to put him near a regular clock for the first couple of weeks to double check my visual math.
LOVE IT! I think it’d startle me out of bed every morning :)
Oh it would totally catch me off guard in the morning – and since the time is hard to read, I would HAVE to wake up in order to figure it out ;)
