through the fawn & forest

David Weeks Wooden Robot Action Figure Puzzle Toy

Over the river and through the Fawn & Forest, to shopping heaven I go! I thought I’d feature a couple of boutiquey websites that I luuurve to help further your gift-giving skills this holiday season. Fawn & Forest is a site after my own snooty, designer heart. With a minimalist aesthetic, and a curated, small biz feel to the products, everything they sell feels like a modern heirloom. I keep finding products in their lists that I’ve already bookmarked – we are so sympatico. Because they source such amazing hipster finds, sometimes the prices scare me a little. But I’ve just found the Fawn & Forest gift guides (yep, they’re nearly as good as my gift guides) which they’ve helpfully organized into all kinds of affordable price points. Take a gander and see what you think! Image above is David Weeks’ Cubebot, available in an affordable but hefty $35, 9.5″ tall version.

Are you living in Canada? Lucky you – you can shop at another hipster cool – though with a younger aesthetic – online shop: Babybot. Every single item on their site should really be in my own home. Really, truly. (hint, hint)
