Paint your Own DIY Craft Wood Waldorf Doll Figures

Are you still planning on making Christmas gifts for your friends and fam? Every year I have big plans. Great ideas. Itchy crafty fingers. And no time. I had hoped this year would be different – the fatal flaw of the eternal optimist – but here I am again. It’s 10 days before Christmas, and I have lots of theoretical gloriousness and no handmade toys or gifts to show for it. I really want to do some Dunny-style hipster graphics on simple wooden dolls like these, $3.50 for 8 of them! We could make modern families for my favorite kidlets to stuff into all of their vehicles and dollhouses and boxes and pockets (and the trash, at my house).

Or maybe this nesting house and dolls below for $30. Plus the wooden basket boxes, the yo-yos, and the round ball tops. Best part of all of this, besides the affordable pricing, is the delivery: order by December 21st to get these wooden mischief makers in time for Christmas. How’s that for procrastination? With that kind of timeline open to me, I’ll be painting them Christmas Eve morning.

What handmade kiddie gift would you make if you had the time?
