So, yeah, today I’d hoped to have our 5th entry into this week’s Blogiversary Giveaways, but there’s been a short delay. That just means we get to extend all the celebratory fun into the following week – I want you coming back for more, More, MORE! Mwah ha ha ha ha!

I’m fighting the world’s worst headache and some nasty stomach bug, so I apologize, but I’m going to cut to the chase today:

This week’s top picks:

• (image above) Thanks Lil’ Magoolie for highlighting these delicious custom paper dolls. LIke Maddie says, they’d be perfect for a custom family portrait – where everyone is within your master controls. (It’s bound to turn out right then!)
• Mini-Eco shows us how to make custom scenery with a simple cereal box. I really need to get some more x-acto blades. I’m in love with cardboard right now. Via Inhabitots.
• Babble’s list of their top 10 dollhouses is great – even I didn’t recognize all of them. (and I consider myself a bit of a live-vicariously-by-online-window-shopping-expert). And I’d completely forgotten about the amazing toy company known as Bozart. So sad that they’re long gone….
• Then, of course, there’s the DIY dollhouse approach. Like this simple bookshelf dollhouse refab from Ikea Hackers. It reminds me of the modular American Girl dollhouses from a couple of years back. Loved those.
• And, since I appear to be stuck on houses this week, I’m loving these collapsible cardboard playhouses featured in Busy Working Mama’s giveaway. I’ve actually got a DIY version sitting around here that I have to do a post on – can’t wait to share mine too!
