Phew. It’s Friday. Wipe your hands across your foreheads in relief everyone! It’s been the kind of week where, for the first time in the entire massive history of this blog, I literally forgot to post something yesterday. My apologies, my dears. You forgive me right? Luckily it’s a link round up day today so I can make it all up to you with lots of good finds. And, note to self, remember to post to the blog.

This week’s top links around the interwebbies:

  • (image above) Pinterest is so much fun, follow me on Pinterest – and I’ll try to follow you back! It’s group sharing possibilities show me amazing little gems like this adorable snail via Soto Softies. Which is just making me grin from ear to ear. (I have a thing for snails right now. I want one. A real one. To lurve in my terrarium).
  • It’s been a roller coaster week of emotions over here. Joining the hopscout team, dealing with some frustrations in my hubbie’s over-scheduled world, and watching my little girl develop her own strong feelings (lots of tears and hugs!). It’s the kind of week where this list of kids’ definitions of love is just about perfect. Be prepared to smile.
  • Finding non-pastel clothing for infants could be a full-time job. It’s that hard. Luckily Coos and Aahs showcased these beautiful bloomers, bibs, and accessories from Petit Pan to give us some inspiration for how it should look.
  • Poketo has always had my attention for their amazing artist print wallets, bags, and accessories. But now? Now they’re doing these modern balancing blocks for kids and adults. So minimalistically beautiful. (I know, it’s not a word, I don’t care).
  • Maybe if I make this make your own cardboard parking deck/garage I’ll finally understand the Escher-like impossibilities of parking in and exiting from a parking garage. They always turn my head inside out. via Kinderpendent.
  • A DIY “hot air” balloon craft? Comin’ right up! (giggle) The instructions are easy, and might even teach your kids a little bit about that thing called gravity. via Bloesem Kids.
  • Now. This one is to prove to all of you upstarts on the coasts that the Midwest KICKS YOUR A**. Guess which state gets the coveted title of Most Hipster State in the US? That’d be my state. (one could argue that the data collection methods could be interpreted the opposite way, but I’ll ignore that bit for now.) Go Minnesota Go!
